The 30A area is world-famous as the home of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Powdered sugar white sand and crystal clear emerald waters that stretch unobstructed for miles... aaaahhhhh... soak it all in and keep coming back for more!

There are numerous public beach accesses (complete with bathrooms and fresh water) and parking.

And the Magic of the Choctawhatchee Bay

The best kept secret in Walton County, the Choctawhatchee Bay is known only by an elite few who get to experience the serenity and natural beauty this expansive shallow bay offers. Those who know it love it for stand up paddling, kayaking, boating, fishing, and cherished peace and quiet. Your adventure awaits!

Paddle to The Bay Restaurant

A great half day trip is to launch from the private marina and paddle or boat to The Bay Restaurant for brunch, happy hour, and music! One of the hottest spots in the area, The Bay Restaurant offers great sushi, awesome drink specials, and locally inspired cuisine, and is a leisurely 35-45 minute paddle (only 1.5 miles) from the marina.

Launch your boat, paddleboard, or kayak (or borrow one of my canoes - free) from this best kept secret private marina just one block from the house.

Travel down a secluded canal (about 4 ft deep) 1/2 mile and out into the Choctawhatchee Bay where you can access the Intercoastal Waterway and connect with over 3,000 miles of adventure.

STAY FIT & HAVE FUN

Paddle

This area is a meca for stand up paddling and kayaking, with one of the largest varieties of options in an geographic area. Paddle the Gulf, numerous intercoastal dune lakes, the Choctawhatchee Bay, and a variety of nearby springs.
Bike

An 18+ mile bike path, the Timpoochee Trail runs parallel to Scenic Highway 30A that hugs the coast and crosses numerous coastal dune lakes and state parks, beach access points, and charming neighborhoods.
Hike

Between the Pt Washington State Park hiking trails and the Timpoochee Trail. a day hike with Fido is a perfect day on 30A. Finish your adventure at one of the local pubs along the path The trail parallels the entire length of Scenic Highway 30A from Dune Allen to Inlet Beach and is safe, wide, and relatively flat. Rental bikes are available from several shops along the length of the trail. You can rent bikes by the day, but if you’re staying somewhere along 30A you might want to rent them for the entire week. After one ride along the Timpoochee, your bike may become the preferred mode of transportation at the beach.
Golf

With numerous public and private courses, the 30A area offers loads of golf opportunities... Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club, Camp Creek, Burnt Pine, Origins, Blackstone, Seascape, Sandestin and more so you can play every day.

The HOUSE

Enter from the front door into the living room with sectional sofa, electric fireplace, entertainment center and desk area.

The giant sectional sofa in living room features a chaise lounge, queen sleeper, and full sized sofa.

The house can sleep up to 8 comfortably.

The living room and dining room also offer additional office spaces (desk and chair).

Electric fireplaces in living room and master bedroom add additional heat & ambiance, so it's easy to be comfy and cozy.

Full kitchen with new refrigerator/freezer with ice maker and microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, Belgian waffle maker, blender, stackable washer and dryer and deep freezer.

Window over kitchen sink looks out onto the backyard with meditation garden deck. Kitchen counter with two barstools sits adjacent to dining room with table seating for six.

Strong WiFi and good cell phone service by most carriers (unlike many places directly on the beach in this area).

The master suite offers a four-poster queen bed, chest of drawers, armoire... and newly remodeled deep soaking tub and shower with elegant glass subway tile surround in the en suite bathroom.

The 2nd bedroom offers a queen bed, closet, and mini fridge.

The 3rd bedroom is set up as a yoga studio/meditation room or artist's studio with giant mirror & room for 3 yoga mats.

The second & third beddrooms both offer great sunlight during the day and provide a quiet peaceful environment for reading, writing or working.

This house offers a lot of flexibility. The second and third bedrooms can be either bedrooms or office/studio space.

The ensuite Master Bath was very recently remodeled and now offers a deep soaking tub and shower with elegant glass tile surround. The guest bath is located conveniently at the end of the hall to the bedrooms and is easily accessible by the yoga/meditation room (office) and the 2nd bedroom.
